A six pack for my keg
Well for those who actually read my blog regularly you may remember something I mentioned about going to the gym and all this being a part of the company's initiative towards making us healthier. Well today to round it all off for the year they had a marathon! Okay marathon sounds like 10 kms and all that. Well here it was 2 kms and the maximum incline to be dealt with was 3 degrees maybe! Believe it or not I managed to finish the two km run in less than 10 minutes! Okay I didn't come first but I wasn't last, so much so I beat the last guy by over 10 minutes.
Well about 40 people ran. Everyone finished without collapsing. Of course I thought there would be a big rush for the showers after the race so as soon as all formalities were done I rushed to the showers. Turns out people in my company rather be sweaty. I bet only about 10 of those people came to the showers! Okay not deviating from the topic at hand, my keg!
Well you have heard of people who try real hard to achieve two-pack abs, or maybe four or still better a six-pack abs! Personally I think they have named things wrong. Let's look at it this way. I have a nice keg for my abs and a keg is far better than a six-pack in real life, right? So how come I can't just trade in my keg for a six-pack? Or still better, why can't people just appreciate the fact that I have a keg!
Okay I am nuts...

Visions of perfection...
Ever thought about the vision that you glorify in your mind, the ideal that you enthrone in your heart.
So do you think you are perfect and that you are never at fault? Come on! Be honest, we very often think that way, don't we... We often wonder why other people have to be so immature about things and that we are the only one’s thinking from a mature point of view.
Once in a while we do need a "reality check"... Of course no point being overly critical because no one matches actually matches his or her perfect ideals... But we have to learn to think outside our own world. Remember, don't get so caught up in your dreams that you don't consider others' points-of-view...

24 hour pharmacy
Well one late night I wasn't exactly feeling very well so called up this information number and asked them for the number of a 24 hour pharmacy in Manipal Hospital area, where I stay! So they put me on hold. I wait patiently. The guy comes online after about five minutes and tells me that there is no pharmacy called 24 hours! Keeping my calm I ask him for a pharmacy that will be open late at night in the Manipal Hospital area. Well the guy puts me on hold and comes back and gives me the phone number of some pharmacy across town! Wow... The guy was dumb!
I hung up and called another information service. Ask for the same thing. The guy puts me on hold and then gives me a long list of pharmacies. Finally he comes to the last one on his list – 'Manipal Hospital'! After all that, the answer ended up in my own question and in my own backyard!

What's in the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
Ever wonder what lies in your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Are we really storing up anything there so we are not surprised with the contents when we get there?
It's like wondering what people would say at your eulogy... Okay I am not thinking about death here. I am not worried that I am going to drop dead or anythign tommorrow so please don't call me to find out if I am normal! Its just a wondering. That's what a blog is for. It's for wondering about things like this!
Well what would you say at my eulogy?
I read this somewhere...
I have learned that life is not just about joy, but also sorrow. It is our sorrows that pave way for greater joy and appreciation for life. It is our sorrows that remind us of our own mortality. What defines our life is not how much gold we have, but how much love we have known, have experienced, have embraced, not only with your family and friends, but more importantly, yourself and God. Without self love, you risk the chance of allowing true love into your life, and without God, well, we have nothing. I wish for you all, love. I wish for you all, a kind, loving relationship with God, yourself, and your loved ones. I wish you good health, peace, and whatever your heart craves.
